Walking in JURMALA, Latvia - Baltic Beach Vibes - 4K

Jūrmala is a seaside resort city in Latvia, located along the Gulf of Riga just around 40 minutes from Riga. Jurmala stretches for about 25 km and is known for its sandy beaches and wooden architecture. The wooden villas, many of which date back to the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The town has just around 50,000 residents yet a long history as a health resort, known for its mineral waters and mud baths.

We start our walk near Jurmala's town center coming by train from Riga. Soon get to Jomas Street, the main pedestrian street of Jurmala. Jomas Street is lined with cafes, shops, and restaurants. At the end we see the Church Of Our Lady Of Kazan from where we head towards the sea.

We pass Dzintari Concert Hall, built in 1936, is a key cultural venue, as get to Majori Beach. Jūrmala's beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status for cleanliness and environmental standards. As we walk along Majori Beach we enjoy the Baltics sea. When we see the Baltic Beach Hotel we get back towards the town center and head back to our starting point.

Let's enjoy Jurmala! A nice day trip from Riga and good for long beach walks.
