Nicosia is the divided capital of Cyprus. Centrally located on the island, the greek side is in the South while the North is controlled by Turkey.

It is a quiet Sunday in Nicosia during winter (February 2020). Most shops are closed and a few tourists have a stroll through the streets of the city
