Walking in FRANKFURT / Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Old Town, Banking District, Bahnhofsviertel

This walk in Frankfurt am Main / Germany we start at the “RΓΆmer” which is the town hall since the 15th century. We walk to the nearby “Eiserner Steg” - a pedestrian bridge crossing over to the Sachsenhausen district.

From the other side of the Main river we can see the skyline of Frankfurt. We return over the bridge to the old town and make our way to the Bahnhofsviertel - the train station. On the way we see the Paul’s Church, the walking street “Zeil” and the old opera house. People enjoy their afternoon at a little food and wine event - the “Fressgass-Fest”.

We make a detour and visit the office block “Taunusanlage”. There is in the banking district many people work in Frankfurt. In the evening now it’s fairly quiet though. Soon we reach the Bahnhofsviertel and the train station where we end this walk.
