FARO, Portugal - Winter Sun - 4K HDR with captions

Faro, the capital of Portugal's Algarve region, is known for its historic old town and scenic marina. The city blends Roman and Moorish influences, with cobbled streets and ancient architecture. It serves as a gateway to the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.

We start our walking tour at the Marina, a relaxing spot with boats and waterfront cafes. We then walk into the Old Town through the Arco da Vila and explore the cathedral in Largo da Sé square. Outside the Old Town, follow the old defensive walls that once protected the city. Re-enter the Old Town’s winding streets, full of corners and local shops yet quiet on this winter weekend.

At last we rturn to the Marina* then continue to other parts of town to discover Faro's modern side.
