Zurich (German: Zürich) / Switzerland is known as a global financial center and - with a population of 400.000 people - the largest city of the country. With a picturesque old town the city is located along the Limmat river on the the Lake Zurich. Tourists can also enjoy many museums and art galleries in Zurich.
We start our tour behind the Zurich Main Station at the Swiss National Museum. From there we cross over to the train station and get into the city center. We see both modern and older architecture. At the Church of St. Peter we have a peek inside. We pass the Fraumünster Church on our way to the Münsterbrücke which brings us to the east-side of Zurich.
There we see the Grossmünster and explore more of the old town. The Limmatquai leads us to the Zurich Opera House. Walking along the Lake Zurich on this beautiful day is a popular activity for locals and tourists alike.
We get back to the city center and make a little detour uphill on the Rämistrasse which then gets us back to the Grossmünster once again.
Heading North along the Limmatquai we pass the Zurich Town Hall, get to the westside of Zurich where we head uphill. Up at the Lindenhof we are rewarded with a nice panorama of Zurich - a popular photo spot.
It's time to head back to the train station. It takes us only a few minutes downhill to the city center. We reach the Bahnhofsstrasse which leads us back to the train station where we end this Zurich walking tour.
