SORRENTO, Italy 🇮🇹 - 4K HDR with captions
Description
We are in Sorrento, Italy, a beautiful town on the Amalfi Coast! On this tour we explore Piazza Tasso, Marina Grande, Corso Italia, and other key sights while discovering Sorrento’s history, traditions and famous cuisine.
Our tour starts at Piazza Tasso, the town’s central square, named after poet Torquato Tasso. Walking through the historic streets, we visit Chiostro di San Francesco, a peaceful 14th-century cloister, and Villa Comunale, where we get stunning views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. As we head toward Marina Grande, we see Sorrento’s traditional fishing harbor, famous for fresh seafood and family-run restaurants. Along the way, we pass Sorrento’s lemon groves, home to the world-famous limoncello liqueur.
Throughout the tour, we talk about local traditions, Sorrento’s volcanic origins, and the best seasons to visit. Keep subtitles on for more details!
Sorrento is famous for its sea views, fresh seafood, traditional ceramics, and its location near Capri, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast. This tour gives you a feel for the town’s atmosphere during the off-season in October, from its narrow historic streets to its piazzas.
