Walking in BAMBERG, Germany 🇩🇪

Winter Evening Tour

Bamberg is a city in Bavaria, Germany. Located in Upper Franconia, on the river Regnitz, Bamberg is well-known for its well-preserved medieval and baroque architecture, leading to its UNESCO World Heritage Site status. The city’s population is around 77,000.

Our tour shows the unique old town layout of Bamberg, preserving structures from the early Middle Ages to the baroque period. We start looking at the Old Town Hall, situated in the middle of a bridge and see key landmarks like the Bamberg Cathedral, with its four towers. The Imperial Cathedral, established in the 11th century, containing the tombs of Emperor Henry II and Pope Clement II.

We make a good tour around the old town, newer areas and along the Regnitz river before we return to our starting point near the Old Town Hall.
