Žilina is a city in north-western Slovakia with a population of aournd 80,000 people. The city of Zilina is located around 200 kilometres (120 mi) from the capital Bratislava. Zilina is, close to both the Czech and Polish borders and we arrive just for a stopover from Kosice on our way to Pardubice.

Our walk in the fourth largest city of Slovakia starts at the train station. It takes us a few minutes to reach the edge of the city center. There we see the Church of the Holy Trinity and the town’s Mariánske Square.

After we check a bit of the surroundings we return to the train station ending this quick tour of Zilina.
