Walking in PRAGUE / Czech Republic 🇨🇿

Castle District to Wenceslas Square

We are in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. The “golden” Prague is on most travel lists for central Europe and a regular destination here on the POPtravel.

This time we start our tour with a nice view from the Prague castle, the largest ancient castle in the world. We continue our walk from https://youtu.be/J7HIfklyF9w back to the city. First we explore Hradčany, the Prague Castle district.

On this beautiful day we cross the Charles Bridge on our way to the Astronomical Clock (Prague Orloj) at the Old Town Hall at the central Old Town Square.

We continue south-east towards the Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí). This 750m / half-mile long, 14th-century square now has the National Museum, shops & hotels to both sides and the St. Wenceslas statue where we end our walking tour.

Note: Our second ever video (end December 2018) started just there so if you like to see Prague in winter going back up to the castle and back, please check out this walking video: https://youtu.be/a4y7pJn4a-4
