Walking in BANGKOK / Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡

Phra Nakhon (2019)

As one of the biggest cities in South East Asia, Bangkok is the starting point for many travelers on their trips. Here on POPtravel I recorded several walks in Bangkok as there are several interesting districts with different vibes.

We start our walking tour on a hot afternoon at the Santi Chai Prakan Public Park. Overlooking the Chao Phrana River with the Rama VIII Bridge this park is near the Phra Sumen Fort, where we finish a Khao San Road evening walk: https://youtu.be/bfvFwfawe9k

On this tour we walk south and pass the temple “Wat Chana Songkhram” on our way to Khao San Road. We leave the area and get further north to the Phra Nakhon district.

There in Phra Nakhon are fewer tourist sites yet we can see more of Bangkok with smaller temples and many shops along the Thanon Samsen street. We are now away from the tourist area in the Dusit district, which is the political hub of the area with government offices. Soon we end this walk near the Suan Dusit University.
