We are in Prag again, this time in the Holešovice district (Prague 7). Compared to the old town, Holsovice is a more residential area with traditional pubs, some theaters and techno clubs.
For the tourist side of Prague please see https://youtu.be/J7HIfklyF9w (Summer) or https://youtu.be/a4y7pJn4a-4 (Winter) . Some non-touristy Prague was requested by some viewers so here we go…
Our tour starts at DOX Centre for Contemporary Art - east of the city. We walk south first towards Komunardů, one of the main streets there in Holesovice. We see the typical apartment housing and also some backyard pub on this summer day (August 2020). Stalls at Prague Market (Pražská tržnice) sell everything usually. This time it’s a little quiet.
We move on and walk along the Vlatava river to the Vltavská. From there we head back up north for an older area of Holesovice.
Along Dukelských Hrdin we walk all the way to the the Trade Fair Palace. This exhibition space in an industrial building that was completed in the late 19th century. We also end our tour around Holesovice there to visit the park on this beautiful day.
