Kyiv (also Kiev and Ukrainian: Київ) is the largest city and capital of the Ukraine. The city is one of the oldest in Europe with a long history.

We walked in Kyiv on the main street at centre ( https://youtu.be/3PAFFM1m4_o ) - today’s tour explores another area of the central city.

We at the Maidan, the Independence Square in the center at the The Founders of Kyiv Monument (Пам’ятник засновникам Києва). We take one tunnel under the Khreschatyk and walk West and uphill first to the St. Sophia’s Cathedral and then to the St. Michael’s Bell Tower and monastery.

We have a look around before we head to the park area of Volodymyrska Hill. We see the Friendship of Nations Arch and walk back to Khreschatyk and the Maidan, where we end this tour.
