Halle (Saale) is a city in eastern Germany, close to Leipzig. Halle is the largest city in Saxony-Anhalt. Halle is known for its university, the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
On this walking tour we explore the center of Halle. We pass several sites like the Marktkirche (Market Church), known for its towers, the HΓ€ndel House, a museum about composer George Frideric HΓ€ndel. This time we also head to the Moritzburg, a Renaissance castle turned art museum before we get back to the city center.
Our walking tour ends at the Halle train station. For our tour of Halle in September 2020, please check https://youtu.be/_KoLrp0tZFs
