Rostock is a city in northern Germany along the Warnow River, near the Baltic Sea. Rostock was founded in the 11th century and just now we visit it for a video walk, even we’ve been to Greifswald, Stralsund and Wismar. Rostock known for its maritime industry and has a large port, one of Germany’s largest. The University of Rostock was founded in 1419.

On this tour we start at the Town Hall of Rostock at Neuer Markt. We walk on the Kröpeliner Straße to the city center and old town. We pass through the Culture Museum area, head north to the Promenade Stadthafen and finally back to the city center. We see key sights like St. Mary’s Church, a Gothic building with an astronomical clock and also have a peek into the area around the old market.

At last we finish our tour at the Steintor and Ständehaus. Enjoy this long tour of Rostock!
