PoznaΕ is a city in west-central Poland that we often visit here on POPtravel. The city has a nice atmosphere thanks to a large student population.
As our first tour of 2024 we begin our winter walk in the Old Market Square (Rynek), which has been newly renovated. The square is framed by colorful historical buildings and the the Renaissance-style town hall.
From the Rynek we get to the Liberty square where the Christmas Market is still held. We wander around the market before we head back to the old town and visit the Parish Church (Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mary Magdalene and St. Stanislaus).
Our tour ends at Plac Kolegiacki with some more Christmas lights there.
Note: this is my first HDR upload so some mistakes will have to be corrected, like the wrong Colorspace/Gamma of the texts in the intro. Still, I plan to record new walks in HLG and release most of them in HDR. Hope you can enjoy them on a HDR enabled screen. Let me know in the comments.
