Santiago de Compostela is the capital of Galicia in Spain. Known as the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, this city is significant in Catholicism. Many believe, that here in Santiago de Compostela lies the burial site of St. James, one of the twelve Apostles of Christ.

I finished the Camino Portuguese from Porto in wonderful 12 days thanks to perfect weather in May. Now as a bonus I walk through the streets of Santiago, we’ll explore religious landmarks and see the local life in side streets. If you would like a Camino de Santiago walk, distilling the route per day, let me know. I filmed also some hour of short snippets.

Note: this walk was recorded with a limited equipment on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. Audio quality is rather poor with lots of wind noise.
