Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia. With a relaxed atmosphere it attracts tourists from nearby Austria, Germany and even ex Yugoslav countries nearby.

We often tour Ljubljana along the river (called Ljulbjanica) or up to the castle. This time we head into the more modern city center. We start at the Dragon bridge, get to the new town before we return to enjoy the lively old town again along the river.
