Shkodër is a historic city in Northern Albania. Also known as Shkodra, it is the fourth largest city in the country. Over the last few years Shkoder has experienced a face lift, making it now also attractive to spend a day or two in the city - for example coming from Macedonia, like we did.

Our walking tour starts at the Monument Luigj Gurakuqi. We will then explore the center we will see sights like the Ebu Bekr Mosque (Xhamia e Madhe), which is the largest in Albania.

We will stroll down the pedestrian street, Kole Idromeno, which offers an experience of daily life in Shkoder. We see a lot of streets and side streets in the center before we finish our tour near our starting point.
