Sighișoara / Romania is a city in the Transylvania region. Historically German craftsmen and merchants, the Transylvanian Saxons, were invited here by the King of Hungary during the 12th century, to settle and defend the frontier. Sighişoara is a picturesque example of a small, fortified medieval town is a popular tourist destination, which is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

On our walk we cover most of the old town with the Sighisoara Citadel and also have a look outside the old town walls to get a good overview over this special historic place.
