Sibiu / Romania (German: Hermannstadt /Hungarian: Nagyszeben), is a city in Transylvania. With its history of the 12th-century “Siebenbürgen” Saxon settlers Sibiu is known for Germanic architecture in its old town. The city becomes more popular with tourists now as new flight connections are available. We visited Sibiu coming from Brasov and Sighisoara by train on our tour through Romania.

On this evening walk we see the old town of Sibiu and walk all around the compact and cozy city center with some shopping street, restaurants and cafés.
