Valletta is the capital city of the island nation Malta. The city of valletta was one of earliest sites listed by UNESCO as World Heritage. Valletta was named after Jean Parisot de Valette, a French nobleman. With the foundation in 1566 the Knights of St John created a baroque city which is lively today and the main tourist attraction of the island.
We arrived here by walking from Sliema ( https://youtu.be/qDjiyM8IoFE ) where most hotels are located. It’s convenient to take a bus yet here we are and with the evening start a tour around Valletta.
