Corfu / Greece an island in the Ionian Sea and a popular European tourist destination. The island has a historically been ruled by the Venetians, French and British before it was united with Greece in 1864. The town of Corfu, still has Venetian fortress to visit that we we see from a distance.

We start our walking tour at the Corfu Public Garden (Κήπος τoυ Λαού Κέρκυρα) overlooking the sea. We pass the Municipal Gallery of Corfu and soon get into the old town of Corfu. Different influences can be seen in the streets.

On this evening we explore the winding medieval lanes in a fall atmosphere before we return to the Corfu Municipal Gallery again.
