Walking in KONSTANZ / Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Konstanz / Germany is a city in southern Germany near the border to Switzerland. Located on Lake Constance (Bodensee) this picturesque town has a preserved medieval district which includes the Konstanz Cathedral.

We start our walking tour of Konstanz at the Emperor’s Fountain in the city center. After touring the center we head to the Konstanz Cathedral which we also see inside.

After more steps through the narrow streets we head to the Rhine river with the Rheintorturm, which is now a history museum housing the Fasnachtsmuseum.

We continue our way back to the center with painted houses like the Hotel Graf Zeppelin and finally also the town hall. Like other towns in the area the Konstanz town hall is covered with frescoes and has a Renaissance-style courtyard.

At last we head to the harbor where we see the Imperia which a statue at the entrance of the harbour of Konstanz. There we head out to other destinations as our ferry departs in a few minutes.
