Hanover (German: Hannover) is the capital city of the state “Lower Saxony” in Germany’s North. The city of Hanover is also third largest in the Northern Germany area after the famous Hamburg and Bremen, which we visit often here on POPtravel.

On this hour-long tour of Hanover we visit the city center and head to the New Town Hall. This building in an eclectic style at the southern edge of Hanover is located at the Mashteich where we also see the larger Maschsee lake. From the southern city area we head back to the inner city and finish our tour at the train station, where we started our walking tour.
