Schwerin / Germany is the state capital of the northern state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

On this rainy day we start our tour at the market Square. We visit the Gothic Schwerin Cathedral and continue to explore the old Town.

Soon we get to the Schwerin Castle, a neo-Renaissance palace on an island of the Schwerin lake, where we also see its elaborate gardens. The castle sits on an island in Lake Schwerin, one of several picturesque lakes.

We see more of the city as the weather gets better and end our tour at the Pfaffenteich.
