The city of Leipzig in Saxony / Germany is known as a place for trade-shows and exhibitions. With a modernized manufacturing and service industry Leipzig is also a popular destination for students and job seekers in the state of Saxony.

Our winter walk in Leipzig ( https://youtu.be/udrqN2QArHo ) shows the main sights. This time in summer (September 2020) we take another look with different tour of this city.

We start at the central market square of Leipzig (Marktplatz Leipzig). From there we check out the inner city center. We pass through some arcades and see several churches on our way through Leipzig like the St. Thomas Church and St. Nicholas Church.

The tour covers a good area around the city center with some walk along the northern part towards the train station. There at the Leipzig Main Station we see the “Promenaden” a bit more which is a shopping area before we end our tour.
