Venice (Venezia) / Italy is a major tourist destination almost any time of the year. During carnival the city is especially crowded. We walk through the narrow streets of this legendary city.during the Venice Carnival 2019.

With the carnival in 2020 cut short and the festivities 2021 limited, this video shows some areas away from the main places around Piazza San Marco. We walk around the Venetian Arsenal which is an area with former shipyards and armories. From late Middle Ages to early modern times the Venetian naval power originates from the Arsenal.
