Lisbon (Portuguese: Lisboa) is the capital of Portugal. This hilly, coastal city is located on the River Tejo which flows into the Atlantic. Our evening tour of Lisbon starts right at the waterfront.

We walk across the grand Praça do Comércio, also known as Palace Square in the city centre and have a stroll around the busy Rua Augusta in December 2019.

On our way we see the Santa Justa Lift, Praça Dom Pedro IV and Praça Marim Moniz shortly thereafter. Now it’s time to get uphill to enjoy views over Lisboa.

We take the Escadinhas da Saúde and find the Miradouro da Graça for a sweeping view over the city. We also have a peek into the chruch Igreja da Graça when we are there. Another viewpoint is a bit further up - Mirador Nuestra señora del monte.

We made it, so we can enjoy the sunset over Lisbon and end this evening tour of Lisbon.
