Bremen is a city in northwest Germany located at the Weser River. The city is known for Hanseatic buildings around the Market Square. In Germany Bremen is also famous by the fairy tale “Bremer Stadtmusikanten” (Town Musicians of Bremen).
More about this fairy tale ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Town_Musicians_of_Bremen ) and a long winter tour of Bremen can be found here on POPtravel: https://youtu.be/LBN1jQmut-8
This time we are in Bremen and it’s late summer (September 2020).
From our view at the windmill we walk into the city centre, check out the Lloyd-Passage with the “Mall of Fame” and Sögestraße in the main shopping area. Around the market square are the Dom and also some churches as well as the city hall and cafés. On this late summer day people enjoy the nice weather.
As we continue to explore the inner city we see the Domshof and Sögestraße again on our way to the statue for the “Town Musicians of Bremen”.
One more sight is the Böttcherstraße that we missed on the winter walk. This short street ranks among the tourist attractions thanks to the unusual architecture.
In the end we see the Weser river and end this quick tour of the city centre of Bremen.
