Walking in REGENSBURG / Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Regensburg in Bavaria is one of Germany’s oldest towns, founded by the Romans in 179 A.D.. Regensburg has a well preserved old town which is UNESCO World Heritage site since 2006.

On this tour we see the Cathedral of St. Peter (Dom St Peter), Old City Hall and the Stone Bridge on a autumn evening.

We start our tour at the Domplatz with Regensburg’s St. Peter’s Cathedral. Walking to the Neupfarrplatz we check our the western old town. Some arcades like the Pustetpassage become lively on this evening where people meet for a drink and chat.

Via Haidplatz we get to the Town Hall Square (Rathausplatz) with the town hall of Regensburg and a market square. From there we see a few more squares like Arnulfsplatz and Bismarckplatz for public transport connections.

One of the main sights of Regensburg is the stone bridge. We pass that bridge over to “Stadtamhof” district and eventually back to the old town and where we started. After sunset we are back at the Domplatz where we end this tour of Regensburg.
