City Tour (2019)

Dublin is the is the capital city of the Republic of Ireland. With many attractions, a big airport the city is the main tourist destination of the country. With our evening walk around the Temple Bar ( https://youtu.be/z1S3pHGjhpg ) we tour the city during daytime.

We start in the South of the city centre at the St Patrick’s Cathedral. After enjoying the garden on this September day (2019) we walk on Patrick Street to the Christ Church Cathedral.

The centre is busy and there are many side streets from King Edward St to check out. We quickly check the Dublin Castle before exploring the Castle Market area for a while.

The Grafton Street is one of the main pedestrian streets which is busy day and night and not to be missed on our tour. We end up at the victorian gardens of St Stephen’s Green as we head back to Dawson Street and the famous Trinity College.

At Trinity College, whose library houses The Book of Kells, we have a good walk around the campus. As we head North to the busy streets we are in the temple bar districts. The pub and most touristy area is also a must see when visiting Dublin, where our night walk spent a good time there.

Our tour continues crossing the River Liffey where we the shopping area. We head to the O’Connell Street and The Spire, where we end this long Dublin tour.
