Milan (Milano) in Italy is known as the the city of fashion and design. Less touristy than Rome, Florence and Venice, wealthy Milan has diverse and stunning architecture.

A long tour of Milan is on poptravel here https://youtu.be/w4VwhxaaY8o while we start this shorter tour (February 2019) at the Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano).

The construction of the cathedral began in 1386, and the final details were completed in 1965. Right next to the Duomo we visit the famous high end shopping arcade “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II”. From there we pass the Milan Scala opera house (Teatro alla Scala) on our way around the fashion district and a bit our through Arches of Ancient Porta Nuova (Archi di Porta Nuova).

We head back to the centre and many luxury stores in the pedestrian area where we end this tour.
