Poznań (German: Posen) is in the west of Poland. Located between Berlin and Warsaw is well connected by train and roads. As a major economic hub the city also has plenty of history and attractions where we visit some on this winter tour ( https://youtu.be/DoB-EKRvJfE )

With a big student population Poznań enjoys good nightlife. The city is also convenient to walk around which we will do on this tour (in August 2019).

We start at the Fontanna Wolności at the Wolności square. We walk down to the Old Market Square (Stary Rynek)passing the Royal Castle in Poznań (Zamek Królewski w Poznaniu). We stroll around the Rynek a few times before we head out of the centre via Wrocławska street with many bars and restaurants.

The long Półwiejska street has more shops. We walk to the southern end, then head West and back again to the centre via Dąbrowskiego Park.

At last we head to the Warta River, pass Frédéric Chopin Park (Park Fryderyka Chopina) and St. Francis church. We arrive at Rocha Bridge (Most Św. Rocha) where we end our summer Poznań tour.
