Walking in LONDON / England (UK) 🇬🇧

Victoria Station to Westminster Cathedral

We are in London, the British capital (in Oct 2019). There are many reasons to visit London and with the huge size of the city there are many areas to explore.

On this cloudy day we start our tour at the Victoria Station, also known as London Victoria, as one of the major railway and metro stations in the city. We walk around the Victoria area of central London with a more modern architecture. After some time we head to Buckingham Palace where the royal family of the UK lives.

We walk through St. James’s Park and along King Charles Street in Whitehall to have a peek at Downing Street where the Prime Minister of the UK lives.

We also visit Trafalgar Square and walk to the River Thames that we cross. On the other side in Waterloo we have a short stroll to pass the London eye and enjoying the view of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Via the Westminster Bridge we see these iconic buildings closer and end our walk at the Westminster Cathedral.
