Malaga / Spain is the largest city on the Costa del Sol. With a typical Mediterranean climate it is a popular vacation destination and also known as the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
We start our evening tour at the Palmeral De Las Sorpresas - a palm lined port promenade lined with restaurants, sculptures and fountains. In the distance we see the La Farola - the lighthouse of Málaga.
People enjoy a relaxed walk as we head into the city centre via the Plaza de la Marina. Soon we are on the streets that are busy thanks to Carnaval. We see the Cathedral (Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga) and the Palacio Episcopal with a colorful Spanish baroque facade.
As wander around the old town we see lots of the fine architecture, some churches and streets full with shops and restaurants … and people. From the Plaza de la Merced we head back to the inner city where it gets a bit full so we and end our walks near the Plaza de la Constitución.
