Madrid is the capital of Spain and puts up some nice christmas lights for the holiday season. We start our evening walk near the Plaza de España and walk South to the centre along the Gran Via.

After the Callao Metro station we head to the walking street Calle de Peciados with many shops and more lights. Soon we are at the Puerto del Sol with a big Christmas tree of lights. We continue to the Plaza Mayor which has some Christmas market.

We stroll around a bit more before ending the walk near the Parroquuia de San Andrés Apostol.
