Munich (German: München) is the capital of the German state of Bavaria and besides an industrial center also a major tourist destination. On this summer day we walk around the inner city.

Starting from the Karlsplatz we first walk to the Marienplatz, the central square of the city. We visit several nearby churches such as the iconic Frauenkirche and also check out the food market “Viktualienmarkt”.

This tour covers a good range of sights with ending at the Odeonsplatz near the Hofgarten from where we will start another walk.
