Antwerp (Dutch: Antwerpen) is the second largest city in Belgium (after Brussels). Antwerp was a financial and trade center in the 16th century and has some beautiful historical buildings.
We start this evening walk at the Grote Markt - Antwerp’s Market Square with the Brabo Fountain and the Town Hall. There in the centre the Flemish Renaissance architecture can be seen in many places. We walk around in the Old Town with the gothic “Cathedral of Our Lady” (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal).
Later we check out the Groenplaats before we walk towards the railway station were we end this walk.
