Szczecin (German: Stettin) in northwestern Poland is an industrial port city. The city is easily accessible from Berlin. Further along the coast are Gdansk and Sopot, which we walked as well.
In Szczecin there are just a few classic touristic sights here yet the walk will show some interesting architecture and normal Polish street life.
We start the walk at the Plac Brama Portowa in rainy weather. We see churches, a park and even go to the backstreets of apartment complexes to see some buildings from the communist times. We end up at the Galeria Kaskada and make our way to the small new old town for ending this one hour walk.
