Walking around KHAOSAN ROAD / BANGKOK (Thailand)

The infamous Khao San Road in Bangkok / Thailand is the starting point for many backpackers on their South East Asia trip. It gets louder and wilder after sundown where more travelers and locals grab one or more drinks in some of the many bars here.

We start this evening walk at the beginning of Khao San Road, walk it the whole length and then enter some side streets on our way back. The whole tourist district is easily walkable with countless shops and street food stalls.

We end this walk near the Phra Sumen Fort looking at the river. The walk gives a good impression of a regular weekday’s afternoon in almost low season around the Khao San Road area.
