## Description

Frankfurt an der Oder is a German city on the Oder River, right at the border to Poland in the very east of Germany. This Frankfurt is not to be mixed up with the well-known Frankfurt am Main, which we visit regularly here on POPtravel ( https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=poptravel+frankfurt ) .

Frankfurt (Oder) has several red-brick Gothic buildings like the Town Hall, which houses part of the Museum Junge Kunst with East German art. There is also the Kleist Museum which we will pass - dedicated to German dramatist Heinrich von Kleist. Other than that the city is devoid of people on this summer Sunday which gives it a rather eerie atmosphere.
