## Description

Geneva is located at the southwestern tip of Switzerland, near the French border. It has a population of about 200.000  and is the headquarters of numerous international organizations, including the United Nations and the Red Cross.

The city is nicely situated on Lake Geneva (Lac Léman). Most tourists will visit the Jet d'Eau fountain, one of Geneva's landmarks which shoots water 140 meters into the air. Geneva is known for its watchmaking industry and is home to several luxury watch brands.
